PARTNERS-IN-MISSION

 

The Partners-In-Mission Committee oversees the program and activities carried out with our mission partner, the Copan Deanery in the Diocese of Honduras. The PIM program is sponsored by the diocese and is also funded by the Episcopal Church Women of our diocese who have supported PIM's ministry for many years. A diocesan Intercessory Prayer Calendar was created which includes all clergy and churches in this diocese and in the Copan Deanery. Activities between the two countries are being planned by the PIM committee in Honduras and in Louisiana. The diocese continues its prayer linkage with the Diocese of Lango, Uganda, and with its longtime prayer partner, the Diocese of Tohoku, Japan.

Roaf Ordained to Priesthood

The Diocese and Trinity Church, New Orleans, celebrated the ordination of the Rev'd Phoebe Roaf to the sacred order of priests on July 9. MORE
