Eighth-graders from Episcopal School recently visited Mary Bird Perkins-Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center to learn about cancer care and the programs and resources available to cancer survivors.
The students sponsored a fundraiser for Fostering Hope, a program pairing cancer survivors with animals needing a temporary home, a news release said.
