Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Once again we find ourselves at a crossroad. COVID cases are climbing at dangerous rates and we are expecting large crowds for Christmas Eve services. With consultation from Dr. Figueroa who has been faithful in advising our directives, we have decided to issue a mask mandate, beginning immediately.
This notice will no doubt be debated, but our number one priority is for the safety of all. Like many of you, I too have been vaccinated along with a booster shot, but those who will be present in our services may not be. Let us remember our calling to be watchful for the least of these.
I pray all will be well this Christmastide for you and your congregation.
