On a Saturday, March 21 at Christ Episcopal Church in Covington a room of full of people representing 32 parishes throughout the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana gathered to learn more about welcoming newcomers into the church. The training called Invite Welcome Connect was led by Mary Parmer of the Diocese of Texas. She developed this program in 2010 to help congregations become growing, vibrant, and healthy churches.
