Gina Jenkins

Gina is married to the Rev’d Harry Jenkins (Rector of Christ Episcopal Church in Slidell) and they have  two children, Hannah, age 20 and Oliver, age 18. They live in Slidell, Louisiana. Gina is attending the School of Theology at the University of the South. For the past two years, Gina has worked at Christ Episcopal School in Covington as the Worship Coordinator and a Christian Education Teacher. Gina was the Youth Coordinator for the Diocese of Georgia for eight years before moving to Louisiana in 2011. She is affiliated with Christ Episcopal Church in Covington.

 

John Pitzer

John is a native of Texas and was in the Dominican Order, entering the Southern Province in 1994. He received his B.A. from Sterling College in Sterling, Kansas in 1983, and his Masters from Aquinas Institute of Theology in St. Louis in 1997. John was ordained to the Roman Catholic priesthood in 1999. He was involved with parish ministry and also served as Vocation Director and Development Director for the Southern Dominicans. John was received into the Episcopal Church by Bishop Morris Thompson at St. James in Baton Rouge on June 1, 2014.  John just completed a year serving as Director of the Center for Spiritual Formation at St. James, and is attending Seminary of the Southwest in this academic year in order to receive his diploma in Anglican Studies.

Stephen Shortess

Stephen Shortess is a seminarian at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria Virginia. Accompanying him on his journey will be his wife Jennifer, and daughter Abigail. His home parish is Trinity Episcopal Church of Baton Rouge. He is a graduate of the Louisiana State University with a bachelor of science in construction management. When he is not playing fun games with Jennifer and Abigail he enjoys woodworking and photography.
