Dear clergy,
Blessings as you enter into this Triduum. I am so grateful and impressed by the ways that you are working through this time with your congregations. It was also very meaningful for me to see you all on Tuesday for the Renewal of Vows. Again, if you need oil, please let us know.
We will not have a clergy call on Tuesday morning. I hope that you are able to carve out a few days after Easter Sunday for rest. We will resume the following week.
If you have questions about licensing, please consult the resources that Karen has placed on our website.
Both Canon Manning and Chris Speed are available to answer questions about the PPP. We are still working with our bankers on a few unresolved issues; but if anything arises in your congregation, we are here to help.
I will be preaching on Sunday at the Cathedral. My sermon, along with a blessing, will be posted after the service. Again, I know that your days will be filled with planning, filming and connecting with your congregations. When we meet again, our alleluias will surely be a little more meaningful.
May God richly bless you these holy days,
The Rt. Rev’d Morris K. Thompson, Jr.Bishop of Louisiana
