I pray that this message finds you well. Hurricane Zeta brought devastating winds to our diocese particularly in the Greater New Orleans area. I am grateful we were spared from rising waters but the winds caused major damage to the electrical infrastructure.
There are countless brothers and sisters who are still without power. As more and more people live paycheck to paycheck, the food they will lose will need to be replaced.
