The Rev. Ashley Freeman was ordained to the priesthood by the Rt. Rev. Philip M. Duncan, II, Bishop of the Central Gulf Coast. The ordination took place at Trinity Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge on Thursday, July 16. The Rt. Rev. Morris K. Thompson, Jr., Bishop of Louisiana, celebrated Eucharist. The Rev. Michael Russell of Austin, Texas preached. The Rev. Freeman began serving as curate of Trinity Episcopal Church on July 5.
