When the group decided to expand their ministry to the community, they discussed several ways to do that, and in the end, came up with Fleece for the Police, a program that will provide the same shawls, cut from polar fleece material, that are made with the same mindful approach and delivered to the Baton Rouge Police Department.
“Our thinking was that fleece is comforting, and people who have been through a traumatic experience like a bad wreck, a domestic violence situation or any kind of violence, this would be a way for us to wrap them in our prayers, and maybe provide a little comfort,” Williams said… continue reading here
